Jose Chiarella


Lawyer from the Catholic Pontifical University of Lima. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The London School of Economics and Political Science. In addition, he has postgraduate studies in International Taxation from the International Tax Centre of the University of Leiden of Netherlands. He is member of the Lima Bar Association, of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Peruvian Institute of Taxation Law (IPDT).

He has vast experience in tax, corporate and civil advisory for both business and private clients. His professional practice has been highlighted by the most prestigious specialized international publications, which recognized him as a Peruvian leading lawyer, including Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Who’s Who, among others.

Before he joined the Firm, he was partner of Garrigues (Lima office) and of Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Law Firm. He was also associate of Arthur Andersen (Lima office) and Ernst & Young (Luxemburg office).
